Infrared heater, the quiet heating system

Buzz, buzz, click. Isn't it annoying when the heating season comes and we can say goodbye to the comforting silence? Good news, there is a heating system that is truly silent and you can forget about those noises forever!

This new technological solution is the infra-panel. Even if we don't think about it on a daily basis, it's stressful to exist in constant noise pollution. In an urban environment, street noise can be eliminated with proper insulation and super windows, but unfortunately, with the onset of cold weather, different heating solutions can be a significant source of noise. These can include the clacking of gas-fired radiators, the whistling, splashing sounds from radiators or the air blowing from heat pumps. This can prevent us from relaxing at home, sleeping at night or even concentrating properly in an office environment. The solution is the infrared heater, which does not make any sound, thanks to its operating mechanism and the fact that it has no moving parts.

The infrared heaters emit infrared waves that hit and bounce off objects and walls in the room. They heat them up before moving on, of course, so that they act as 'heaters'. So the infrared heater does not heat the air, so there is no airflow, which in turn does not create a sound effect. This, of course, is just one of many advantages.

They're not just good for your ears, they're good for your wallet too. Many people are scared of electric heating, but the huge advantage of an infrapanel is that it can recover up to 98% of the energy used. What's more, it also provides a better feeling of warmth at lower temperatures, saving you up to 60% on your overall heating bill. Not to mention the maintenance cost, which for the infrapanel is as low as £0 per year. This is also due to the lack of wearing parts, so let's calculate what this means in 5-10 years! A on installation we can also save a lot. On the one hand, because we won't need a specialist, and on the other hand, we won't need a costly and lengthy authorisation process.

If we want to benefit our senses other than our ears, how about our eyes? Infrared heaters - especially the frameless versions we sell - can be integrated into almost any interior, and can be made completely "invisible" by using an infrared mirror or painting. You can choose between 3 basic types: aluminium or glass infra-panels and infrared mirrors. Of course, there are different sizes and power ratings, and the descriptions make it easy to work out which one would be right for you.
